About John Bepeh
John Bepeh is a humanitarian leader, doctoral researcher, public health professional and social development advocate. He is the Founder and President of the John Bepeh Foundation (JBF), a non-governmental organisation officially registered in Nigeria and dedicated to advancing education, healthcare, poverty alleviation, empowerment and sustainable community development.
Driven by a profound belief in human dignity, equal opportunity and the transformative power of education, John is committed to improving lives and creating pathways through which disadvantaged individuals and communities can achieve their full potential.
His professional experience in the United Kingdom’s health and social care sector has strengthened his expertise in leadership, safeguarding, service management, person-centred support and the promotion of individual wellbeing. His work reflects a commitment to compassion, professional accountability and empowering vulnerable individuals to live with dignity and independence.
John’s humanitarian philosophy is grounded in the conviction that meaningful development requires more than temporary assistance. It demands sustainable interventions that address the underlying causes of poverty, inequality and social exclusion.

John also holds a Bachelor of Agriculture (B.Agric.) in Agricultural Economics and Extension from the University of Calabar, Nigeria. This qualification provided a foundation in rural development, socioeconomic empowerment, agricultural systems and community-based development.
